WHAT:
The South Bay Puzzle Rally (SBPR) will be held on November 1, 2008. This puzzle rally is designed for geocachers who are ready to compete against other teams as they race around the South Bay, discovering and solving puzzles our little devious minds created. The first team to solve all the puzzles, find all the caches and beat the clock back to the ending location will receive millions! (Of accolades from their fellow geocachers!) Prizes will be given out, but we all know this is for bragging rights.
The SBPR is planned to be an annual event, with this year’s rally being limited to the first 25 teams to sign up and submit their payment. Don’t forget to log your intent at the Geocaching.com log page.
WHEN:

Open to teams of 2 to 6 cachers, all ages welcome. Teams must all fit in one vehicle, and there must be at least one registered geocacher per team. Family, friends and muggles are all welcome to participate. The first 25 teams that register and submit their payment will be accepted for the SBPR.
If you are an individual looking to form your own team, or hoping to find a team to join, you have two options: 1. Post on the geocaching event log page that you are looking for teammates, or 2. Click here to send us an email. Geocachehunter.com will send out an email to all the individuals looking for a team in hopes that you can then make the connection with other cachers.
COST:
Regular Registration is $30 per team (between October 16 and October 31.)
Late Registration is $40 per team (if received the day of the rally, November 1.)
Options of payment: PAYPAL(credit and debit cards) and personal checks.
Registration fees are intended for purchasing prizes, materials and supplies for creating and hosting the rally. Geocachehunter.com is not out to make a profit from this rally.
FOOD:
The SBPR doesn’t provide lunch- so you can plan on your own how to eat-on-the-run or kick it at a restaurant. Up to you! However- for dinner- we will all meet at the final location where each person will be responsible for the cost of their own meal.
Bring PLENTY of water and snacks for competing, as you will not only be driving many miles, but also running a lot! Wear comfortable shoes, and be prepared for an adventure!
Geocachehunter.com is hosting the SBPR, and is a non-profit organization managed by Blazingtrailsmedia.com. For more information about Blazingtrailsmedia.com and their connection with geocachehunter.com, please contact us.
